Hi There,
I've been searching around and I haven't seen a thread yet for USF's CNL program for non-nurse Summer 2011, so I thought I'd start one.
Anyone out there applied yet or still applying? I just submitted my online application last night and am preparing the supplemental packet to send out tomorrow.
Anything you'd like to share, by all means, please do!
Thanks,
KTZ
Thanks so much guys for the help!
FYI - just for some reassurance, as of today, USF doesn't show 3 out of 4 transcripts in, but I know they've all gone to the right place. I talked to MMc yesterday, and she did advise that there is a pile-up of documents that need to be sorted out.
Net, there's a slight lag time on receiving vs. inputting into the system.
BTW -- are you able to get into the online status to see what documents they've received? I have to call help desk, as I'm getting false negatives on the login.
Since I just submitted my app tonight I do not know how to check my online status. Do they email you something or do you check with your app login?
Hi Sam198
They will send you an email with the subject: "Your on-line application to USF's Clinical Nurse Leader - for the non-nurse Program!". That means the online portion is in, and they provide you a URL only to check on the online application form.
Later on, if supplementary items haven't been received yet (or are in a pile in the mailroom) you'll receive a notice and a different URL to check: https://artemis.usfca.edu/prod/bwskalog.P_DispLoginNon
I tried to check on this, but it turns out it automatically disables your access when your supplementary documents have all been received. Whooda thought?
Lastly, if you try to check on your documents using the above URL, and it doesn't work, theres a link to reset your password. If you're still having problems, don't bother calling the number on the page, just send an email to [email protected]
Hope that helps! If any of my technical gibberish doesn't make sense, let me know :)

I looked through my notes from the information session, and show that the acceptance rate is 10% to 12.5% based on 40 cohort slots. I also noted next to it, "Eek!"
So, while I didn't write out Applied / Accepted, you can figure anywhere from 320 - 400 people apply when you extrapolate the numbers.
Hope that helps. If anyone finds out the number of apps they've received, by all means please share! :)

Hi Mase15,
I'm sure they would take these issues into account. I went to the open house Jan 31 and MM said that while 2/15 is the deadline, if things trickle in a few days or so after, it's not going to be a killer issue. They seem pretty laid back about it. Good luck!
