USF Accelerated Nursing Fall 2014

Published

Hey everybody,

My name is Laura I just recently got accepted to the FSU Accelerated Nursing Program; however, I am applying to the USF Accelerated Nursing Program for Fall 2014. I am just looking at my options since USF is a little closer to my family in South FL and (most importantly) I heard the program is great!

I want to know if anybody is applying for the USF Accelerated Nursing program for Fall 2014. I am currently finishing up my application essay. Any advice from USF nursing students in the USF accelerated program?

I am looking forward to hearing from all of you!

Laura

Your app status will change in Soar and you'll get an email advising you of the change

My application still hasn't changed from applied to committee yet. Anyone else's still say apply? Getting worried!

That seems fishy. Maybe call or write to someone? If you didn't meet the minimum requirements I suspect they would have told you as much already.

I know I meet the requirements bc I applied last semester. I had to update my term of entry but I completed that. Tried calling but getting get a hold of anyone in the nursing department.... I posted in the discussion board of soar. :/

CON hasn't been too quick to respond the times I've tried to talk to them. I'd say give them a day at least and try again. Try to leave a message if there is a general voice mailbox. Sounds like. It's just an oversight.

It still hasn't changed:( I have messaged on the discussion board and left a message with the college of Nursing. Anyone else status still not changed?

Don't worry! You already know you've met the prerequisites after all. Have you tried messaging Joylynn Williams at the CON?

Hi guys! My application status hasn't changed either, I submitted it on May 30th. I wasn't worried about it but maybe I should be?

Wow in past terms students found out two weeks after application deadlines. . . But if there are still application that have not been sent to committee . . I have a feeling we going to have to wait just a little longer to find out our faith lol!

TWO WEEKS.....Hopefully they start notifying people next week!! and Joylynn Williams is pretty good on responding to emails in a day or two so I would email her if your application hasn't changed to committee.

I messaged her on Wednesday. Still nothing yet. Hopefully she will email me back on Monday.

I have corresponded with her a number of times. I usually hear from her in the late afternoon, like 3 or 4 o'clock. But she can take a few days sometimes. I expect she has a lot of mail to answer.
