USF ABSN Summer 2023

Published

Hey guys! I didn't see a forum for the ABSN program at USF for Summer 2023 so I wanted to create this page for us to share any info that may be helpful!

I recently got my interview invitation, and actually my interview is tomorrow kinda nervous but has anyone interviewed yet?

Hey guys, is there anyone still waiting on an acceptance decision from USF? I applied since last year and still haven't gotten a decision yet and the deadline is next week. I'm worried.

I was in the same situation. When did you apply? I applied in late September and I just got accepted on Thursday. Try calling USF Admissions Office and explain the situation. If that doesn't work contact the admission recruiter from the College of Nursing and let them know what is going on. USF has been really slow with applications this cycle due to a large number of people applying so try not to worry ?.

Thank you for replying. I applied in October. It's crazy that it took that long for them to make a decision, because I thought they'd atleast prioritize pre nursing students as they have a deadline get be accepted. Anyway, I already sent them an email but will call first thing tomorrow morning or go to school if I have to. Thank you again for the advise. I'll update on how it goes

You're welcome. I was thinking the same thing! They should really look into that. They are not very responsive to emails, so to me that was a waste of time. Calling is how I was able to get it sorted out. I think visiting will be even better! I just did not have that opportunity.

Guys it's finally March meaning we will get our acceptance decision in 3 weeks! I feel like we've been waiting for ages LOL, but if anyone hears back sooner let us know. Good luck to everyone!

Best of luck!! My heart will be racing until March 24th lolol

Are all decisions sent out on March 24th or is that just when they will start sending them out?

I'm pretty sure all decisions are sent out by the 24th, if not hopefully sometime earlier than that. At least that's what it says in the email.

Yeah, that is kind of what I thought as well from their email. I just wanted to make sure since it already feels like such a short time between decisions and the start of the program. Thanks!

I know, I wished we would find out sooner since some of us are from out of town and need to find housing. I don't want to scramble last minute haha

Has anyone registered for orientation with the school? Like there's a mandatory orientation with USF for all incoming students.

I haven't received anything to sign up for orientation yet for usf. Did you get an email?

Yeah, I got an email from the office of admissions to register for orientation like basically complete the tasks under myBullsPath, but I know it has nothing to do with the college of nursing at least that's what I think. It's orientation for the school
