Hey guys! I didn't see a forum for the ABSN program at USF for Summer 2023 so I wanted to create this page for us to share any info that may be helpful!
I recently got my interview invitation, and actually my interview is tomorrow kinda nervous but has anyone interviewed yet?

It went well! WAY quicker than I thought, but she said everyone says that as well due to the question/answer setup. There was only one question that really stumped me and I didn't love my answer. I was surprised that they weren't very clinical/nursing related, but I'm hoping this is just an extra step to learn our personalities off of paper.

Glad it went well! My interview also went by really quickly too, probably finished a little under 10 minutes but it's definitely due to the set up. I think I know which question you're talking about haha. It was the last question for me, and it wasn't a question I was expecting either, but I think it was moreso for the admissions committee to see if we can think quick on our feet.

Hey!! Congrats on being verified! That's one of the most tedious steps.
So I applied on NursingCAS as soon as it opened on Dec 1, got verified within that first or second week, and my interview invite came right when they started in January. I would say as long as you meet the requirements you should get an invite soon!
For interview advice, I will say that nothing I did prepared me for the interview. Doing mock interviews with myself helped me think quickly on my feet, but the questions I googled to practice weren't that similar to what they asked. I would say just prep thinking quickly on your feet and go in with an open mind. It goes by super quickly, but she said that's normal because of the format. You'll do great!!

Does anyone have any tips, especially on the clinical scenario ones? Those are the ones that I'm most nervous abt!
Unfortunately, I can't really help you. I'm still waiting for an invite as my application status just recently (1/23) changed to "verified"

That's actually true! I attended their information session last fall and they did confirm that they were adding more seats for Summer. So I think that should increase all of our chances of getting in! ?
