Hey guys! I didn't see a forum for the ABSN program at USF for Summer 2023 so I wanted to create this page for us to share any info that may be helpful! 

I recently got my interview invitation, and actually my interview is tomorrow kinda nervous but has anyone interviewed yet?

Hi, thanks for creating this forum! And no not yet. However, mine just recently got verified. Do you know how long it took to hear back about interview? :)

So I submitted my NursingCAS app right when the application opened back on December 1st, and I got my interview invitation last Friday on Jan 6th so I guess it took about a month to hear back, but I think you will hear back sooner since they are already doing interviews now and it's getting closer to the interview deadline which is March 3rd. Good luck to you!

That was me a few days ago, nervous as heck but honestly it went by really quick for me. What really helped me prepare for the interview was practice answering common questions they might ask like "why do you want be a nurse.” I also did a mock interview with a friend and that helped calm my nerves a lot haha

Hey! My interview is scheduled for next week Tuesday! Good luck to everyone. :) Btw did anyone get accepted into USF as yet? The admission to USF deadline is March 1st so I'm still waiting.

When did you apply? I think when I applied it took them 2-3 weeks to get back to me about an admissions decision so you should be good. I kept checking my applicant portal to see if they updated the decision

Hi! I just accepted into USF last week. I took about 12 weeks for me to get accepted, I applied back in October. Hope this helps!

I applied in October! I heard that there are a lot more people applying to USF so they are a bit backed up with admission decisions. Hopefully I hear back soon!

I applied in October too so I think that means I should be hearing back soon!

Also, when I spoke to one of the admissions advisors a few weeks ago she told me that usf is planning on admitting more students this Summer for the accelerated program, so hopefully that's true so we can all get in haha 

Don't quote me, but I think she said 30~ more seats
