Desperately looking for the following used books for my ABSN at FDU:

FUNDAMENTALS TO NURSING I & II:

1. Calculating Drug Dosages. An interactive approach to learning nursing math (2nd Edition) by Castillo & McCullough;

2. Taylor's Clinical Nursing Skills (2nd Ed), by Lynn;

3. Nursing Diagnosis Reference Manual (7th Ed) by Sparks & Taylor;

4. Fundamentals of Nursing (6th Ed) & Study Guide. By Taylor, Lillis, LeMone Lynn;

5. Taylor's Video Guide to Clinical Nursing Skills. (CD-ROM), by Taylor, Lillis, LeMone Lynn;

6. Medical Terminology (2nd Ed.), by Willis;

7. Nursing Central software by Unbound Medicine;

8. Nursing Kit (which I believe must be purchased FDU)

9. Software to be downloaded for iPod Touch....hope this will work on my blackberry cause i cannot afford an iPod :)! (Does anyone know where I can obtain this software? thanks!)

Check half.com ... I've found a lot of my nursing books on there - and if you can get away with a slightly older edition (and you almost always can), you can really save a bundle!

Campusbooks.com compares prices from popular textbook sites - including half, ebay, amazon, textbooksrus, and numerous others.

I agree with the PP who suggested you can almost always use an older edition (the previous one), without much issue.

I have been happy with Amazon. They offer new books, used and used books offer by Amazon associates. I have used the site for years and so far no problems. Using a good used book can save you hundreds every semester. In fact, Amazon has a program in which you pay a nomimal amount up front and afterwards all books you order will be shipped free.
