USD MEPN Interview tips??

The interview is in a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers. I know the current students are probably too busy to respond to this, but any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks =)

I did right after I saw your message and I didn't get anything from USD. Waaah! Does this mean I didn't get in? I want to curl into a fetal position now. :_(

i didn't hear from them at all . did you actually get an email regarding your status? i still hope we still have hope! there were so many amazing candidates out there.... it was intimidating... i'm def sad b/c i know of people who got in... and a good number of people too.

Guys, let's not jump to any conclusions yet, anything could've happened. Maybe they're sending out Emails in batches or something. If not, there is always the waitlist, one of the MEPN's in our breakout sessions didn't get in until July!

I know I didn't make it because yesterday after suitems stated that she received an email, I called and they confirmed that I didn't make it . Congrats to you suitums, and anyone else who made it. I'm so depressed! :(

Hi sugarplumkitty, how'd you find out about the other people? Did they receive the email as well?

Gigipgigip, I emailed Cathleen Mumper but didn't receive a reply. Maybe I should call them on Monday (I'm so scared!). I'm very sad as well. I got two bad news yesterday via AllNurses. I also found out CSULA has been sending out interview invites for the past 1-2 weeks and I haven't received anything from them. Who ever said no news is good news didn't know what s/he was talking about. Now I'm waiting on UCLA and I read here that they're not emailing people but snail mailing them instead. That's somewhat of a relieved but also terrifying. And I'm about to send my app to CSUF. *sigh* This is the first year I've applied to nursing school and it sure is disheartening! Maybe I should have applied to more than 4 schools!

hi ADEcstatic, I got some contact info from people I met on the orientation and interview dates and sent out a mass text out of curiosity and then got replies that they heard thru email. At this point, I don't know of any one else who received emails besides those who have gotten accepted already. I really hope they are emailing people in batches and that they haven't sent out all their acceptances yet... i hope we got in though!

I feel like we met at the interview. I don't know why but yeah. What was your name again? You can send me a private message if you want. Anyways yeah some people received an email on Thurs and some received on Fri so I am hoping it is sent in batches or groups and not just all at once... and yup it is what it is :confused:

unfortunately, I just heard that all the acceptances were already sent out by email and that the wait listed/denied people will be getting letters via postal mail and that the letters have already been sent out . I guess we will know soon....
