USC and doing LPN in PI

i have a question, I am a US citizen planning to take one yr LPN program in the phillipines, is it true that after graduation I can come back here in US and take the NCLEX pn. how, what school, and is it legal. plsss answer me.

You will not be able to sit for the exam for months as your transcripts and other items will need to be assessed. Even if you hold US citizenship, if you train out of the US, you are always going to be considered a foreign grad. Licensure and immigration are two very distinct items and not the same at all.

I would take the time to do some reading about the LPN programs that are being offered in PI on the Philippine Forum before deciding to attend school there.

The govt there does not even recognize the training in the first place and most of the instructors have never worked over here and things are done quite differently there to start off with. If you are able to go to school here, it would be much better for you.

You also need to be aware that many areas in the US are doing away with hiring of the LPN in the hospital roles, and hiring RNs only. You may only be able to find jobs in a nursing home, just wanted you to be aware of this. It is not going to be that easy to get a job in a hospital if that is what you are wanting to do.
