I applied to ICU and tele on June 8th. My ICU has been under consideration since the 24th. My tele was in review for a long time and finally rejected last night. I am not licensed yet.

Any email for ICU? or call for ICU?

Nothing from ICU. I am wondering if they just gonna keep that status for a while , then eventually give me rejection letter.

I just realized I sent in a letter of rec that addresses another hospital. 😞 My status still says under review though. But now I'm sure I probably won't have a chance anymore :').

girlllll my dumb self didn't see or read the proper instructions on how to apply, so I only put my resume like a fool I cant go back and change it 😕 it still says under review but for ICU on the same day it said no longer under consideration lolll..

Oh well I applied to so many hospitals and further out too, if they don't take us always have a plan B

Hi! Didn't you say somewhere on this thread that you got a call to interview for ICU 7S about a week and a half ago? If so, when is that interview supposed to be happening? Thanks 🙂

July 16 and July 23rd are when the interviews are happening. Mine is on the 23rd. Did you receive any update?

Thanks! But I am not going to keep my hope high. Last cohort, there were people with that status and got rejection letter at the end of July. Also, I think the reason I got into the under consideration was my personal statement and cover letter, I did put a lot of work and thinking on them LOL.

I literally just woke up to an email that says the position has been suspended 😭. But I applied to tele not to ICU.

This is so wild. Second time this happens to me! That they cancel/suspend the new grad program, so disheartening. Hoping they don't cancel ICU.

Same! I wonder if it's due to the political climate we are in. I would have never thought USC would discontinue their new grad program for tele!

I'm sorry. So, the position is no longer considering any applications that was submitted? That's weird. I mean, why would they have it open in the first place?

I think a lot of hospitals have undergone budget cuts 😞 workers have gotten laid off and training new grads is pricey

Do you think they are still offering interviews for ICU? My application says under consideration.
