Is it the Good Samaritan Hospital? My friend just quit from that unit because her preceptor was picking on her and her mental health was really affected. She also reported to the HR, but they said that their hands are tied. Probably that's why they are hiring someone new.

Hi everyone! So, one of my friends actually is doing the new grad program at PIH - the July/Aug cohort. She said it's really taking a toll on her mental health and the preceptors are really not that great. Plus, it's a 12 week program and it's mostly online modules and you don't get to spend much time on the floor. She feels like she's not ready yet, and is super nervous about starting to work independently.?

Hey guys! Looks like Keck has canceled this cohort's New grad Program due to less openings. It's not our fault. I'm no longer doing my interview as well. I received a call today letting me know about the same. I haven't applied to any other hospital besides PIH. I don't think any other hospital has their application open for this fall. All of them are closed. I will probably wait until the next cohort. Gonna focus on my exam for now.

They will call you. We still got time. Do you all have your ACLS certification? That's a huge deciding factor.

July 16 and July 23rd are when the interviews are happening. Mine is on the 23rd. Did you receive any update?

Hey guys! Sorry to hear that some of y'all got rejected. Keck is very strict about submitting all the required documents. If you miss any one, they reject you immediately. And of course, unofficial transcripts, personal statement - everything goes hand in hand. I heard they receive about 2000 applications and only 25-30 get accepted.

It changed to under consideration after I got a call from them for ICU, but for tele it changed to under consideration before anyone called me. They asked me if my first interest was ICU or tele, and I said ICU. But I don't think that's the same case for everyone. If you're not considered for ICU, they might give you chance for tele. If it says under consideration still - you will probably be hearing from them soon.

If that says under consideration - you will be getting a call or email soon. They are still shortlisting applications.
