USAGPAN 2022

This topic is to help those interested in applying for usagpan 2022. (Us army graduate program in anesthesia nursing). I was recently selected to attend in 2021 and I am a recruiter, so I have a unique perspective on this process and I would like to help.

Hi! This thread (and the one from USAGPAN 2021) have been so helpful in this process. Thank you all!

I’ve received acceptances from both Baylor and USAGPAN; however, as a VA applicant, I’m still waiting to hear about VA funding for 2022. Does anyone have any updates about the VA decision to fund for 2022?

   I am currently a VA student here in the 2021 cohort.  I don't really know any official word, but I can say that we haven't heard anything different and that we (the students)  are expecting you to come in June.  Congratulations and good luck!  This is a great program!

Hey all, not sure if anyone is following this thread at this point but I don’t have FB. Just curious if any other direct commission people for 2022 have orders or have any additional information aside from the deputy director’s recent email? Quite frustrated that the board was moved up so drastically to avoid this very issue and here we are! Thanks!

I have seen two people on FB say they received orders as of Wednesday. I was hoping the rest of us would have seen ours by the end of the week but I have not seen anything. Hopefully next week.

Hi there!

I want to add my name as not having received orders yet, too! It was comforting for me to know that there is a group of us who are waiting for them, and I wasn't alone.

Yeah for sure. My recruiter straight up ignores me at this point so I’m really in the dark as to what the hold up is at this point.
