USAGPAN 2018

I noticed someone had started a thread to rally up nurses applying to the USAGPAN class starting this year so I thought I'd do the same for next year's class! I'll be speaking with a recruiter soon, but I hope to begin the application process very soon! I have about 2 years of critical care experience, just took my GRE and I'm scheduled to take my CCRN next month. I'll be doing that biochem class sometimes before June as well. Anyone else out there applying for next year's Army Nurse Anesthesia Program?

I'm also applying this year around for the USAGPAN. Looking forward to the application process and possibly starting next year!

How are things going for everyone? I recently got my CCRN! Next is the GRE early June. I also started on the security clearance paperwork...it's over 100 pages long... (enough said lol)

I'm pretty much done with my application. Now the wait begins. I hope to make early June board... and then hear from Northeastern... sounds like it will be a long summer :)

Hi everyone! I found this link for an online biochem course through Iowa Central CC on another message board. I emailed Ms. Litzinger and she said this is an approved course. I also emailed the course professor and he informed me that there are no proctored exams, just timed online tests. It's also MUCH cheaper than some of the other options. Just an FYI.

I'm so glad I found this thread. I have GRE and Chem class left and planning on submitting everything next year (because I won't meet the deadline for this time around). I'll be closely following this. Thanks everyone!

Hey everyone! I'm a 2018 hopeful as well living in Dayton, OH. Took the GRE last month. Had MEPS physical last week. Finish Biochem in a few weeks (online through Oregon State). I look forward to getting to know everyone better as we navigate this process together.

I have both my applications in for the program starting next year.... hopefully I will get "boarded" next month... just wondering if anyone has idea when we'd hear from the NU ?
