I just got accepted, too! I am very excited. I applied to USA because it's all online and very affordable. How about you? Do you know someone that went to USA for their DNP?
If you are already thinking about preceptors than you are ahead of me. :) Do we need a preceptor for the first semester?
There is little information on this forum from post master's DNP students. I would love to hear any tips/personal experiences.
Thanks!
Sarah
I have rec'd my acceptance packet and completed the new set of tasks in order to get the official acceptance letter. USA just emailed with confirmation of receipt of the acceptance packet noting it as complete.
Like the others here, not sure what to think at this point.
I am a Post Master's Dual role DNP applicant.
Any input from previous classes as to what to expect would be appreciated.
Thanks.
I will be starting the USA DNP dual program (ACNP/FNP) this fall. I am very nervous as I am the sole provider in my family. I know that working is doable, but I have some anxiety in starting a program that will last FOUR YEARS!!! Anyone else out there starting the same program this fall?
Hello there! I am new here at allnurses...I decided to join because I have a lot of questions and don't have much network of RNs to ask. I applied for the BSN/DNP fnp/agncp dual program for spring 2014. I was wondering what are the chances of being accepted in the program? I have worked the floor for only 2 years, gpa is 3.48,have a msn in leadership and management. Any advice? I would really like to be able to get in a fnp/agncp program and the only affordable one and online one I found is USA's. Vanderbilt's program sound good too but it is expensive and I don't think it is purely online...
I tried applying at Ball state but they are still trying to see if I am eligible for the msn fnp because I already have a msn but the only problem is the grading system that my school used is non-traditional Pass or Fail.

Did you try SJCME (St. Joseph's) there is a WGU RN to MSN grad on our Facebook page who got in at that school's post grad fnp certificate program.
Kind of a weird question. I have been acceppted to the DNP dual role program at USA. I would like to change to the MSN of the same program (dual role) or MSN for the FNP. Have any of you had experience doing this? Is it doable? Or am I going to have to reapply for the new program all over again?
