USA BSN/DNP program

The DNP at USA is very new (maybe 2 years if that?). I don't think you are going to have much luck finding anyone with personal experience with the DNP program at USA. There are multiple threads on the MSN program there.

Hello I am not in USA's DNP program but I have applied. Did you apply for Fall of 2010? If so what specialty? It would be nice to know someone else that might potentially go through the same program.

I applied to the DNP program at USA. I am still awaiting a response. I also applied at University of Michigan - Flint, but it was after the deadlline so I have to wait until Fall 2011.

Decisions letters should be in the mail this week sometime. Hopefully we all hear good news.

Just curious did you all have phone interviews for the DNP program and which track did you all apply for? I am trying to switch from the MSN track tothe DNP track and mailed my application in late, so I will be considered only on a space available basis...

Did you check off two concentrations on your application? One for the FNP and the other for the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner? I want to know if only the BSN-DNP or MSN-DNP were eligible to be accepted in more than one concentration.

Hello Wall-E

In the BSN/DNP option they have an Advanced Emergency Nursing program which gives you the ability to become FNP/AACNP certified. Not sure if this is offered in the MSN program. Did you get accepted also? I hope that you did.
