So what's next for us? Are we just gonna wait for orders?

Not entirely sure.

I think we work with finishing up with our recruiter and then once done with them we will be given a representative from USAGPAN to assist us.  We wait for orders to get a report date (last cohort I believe had to wait until late November for orders to get cut).  I would hope for a welcome packet (rather expect) as well especially for BOLC/CCC school house.

For the direct accessions you'll just work with your recruiter to finish whatever you need and yes we didn't get orders until Nov 29th last year and we didn't get a welcome letter for DCC until mid January around the time we reported to fort Sam Houston for our Oath of office and in processing on 22 Jan this year

be prepared for lots of waiting until then

once you get orders you can start planning your move to San Antonio

enjoy your time with your families once you move especially the direct accessions it goes very fast, we had two weeks to settle when we moved in January before we headed off to DCC for a whole month leaving behind our families to adjust without us so definitely get as much family time as you can

after DCC it's a one day turn around to travel back to San Antonio before BOLC starts then it's BOLC until mid May

Then about 3 weeks off until school starts in June

Whenever you do get orders, my advise is to triple check them. We had multiple people with errors on theirs and it can cause you problems with getting your benefits set up, especially if you have dependents. Even if you don't have dependents you should double check. We had an instance where someone's husband was attached to another person's orders. So don't be afraid to email HRC as many times as you need to to get them right.

What if I am accepted to USAGPAN and completed BOLC.  What is there cut off for letting me complete CCC?

Specializes in ICU.

I'm not sure about the time cut off but I pretty sure you'll get it done before class starts in May; a lot of the current active duty folks got it done while us Direct Acesssions were in BOLC

Has anyone signed yet?

Not yet! Another waiting game..

I got a lengthy zoom interview though with a background investigator from the DCSA just verifying all the countries I've traveled to. I had to show all the stamps in my passport. Also got a few questions about my siblings as well as my wife's family (background). My recruiter says it's for the security clearance.

You have to sign your contract once released to do so by health services directorate. Then await orders.

as long as their are no issues I would start brainstorming where you are going to live in San Antonio. I don't have any recommendations except probably not living far away. (I don't recommend the alcove at Alamo heights 😂) maybe others have recommendations. I wouldn't sign a lease or anything until you have your orders in hand just for peace of mind

For individuals who report for CCC was the time frame the same as BOLC?
