Hi...I take boards tomorrow morning and I am confused about how to answer dosage calc Q's on NCLEX. I've been doing NCLEX 3500 & a few others for review and their dosage calc questions regarding gtts/min are not rounded to whole numbers. For example, I got an answer of 34.5 gtts/min so I rounded it to 35 because that's how we were taught in school...that you can't have a half of a drop. But those practice Q's are counting it wrong and saying it should be 34.5 gtts/min. What is it in the actual NCLEX? I'm so confused!! Help! Also, for those who pray, any prayers for me will be greatly appreciated. I test at 8:00am tomorrow. I've been having trouble sleeping due to anxiety and my testing place is 2 1/2 hours away so I have to be up by 4am and on the road by 5am! Ugh. Thanks for any responses and/or prayers!!!!!
I am a praying person and I will send up prayers for you. I sincerely THANK GOD that my one and only NCLEX drug calculation question was my one and only fill-in-the-blank!
Good luck tomorrow!!!
