Hi all,
I am considering a move to upstate NY (Plattsburgh) for a job. My question is how do nurses cope with the severe weather and snow? I know these areas get a substancial snow fall, how does that work when you are a nurse and have to be at work? Any answers or comments will be appreciated, I don't know if I will take this job as yet.
Thanks again
So..did you go to Plattsburgh and if you did, how did you like it? I have lived in Plattsburgh for 30 years now but was originally from Arizona. Believe me, you get use to the snow and cold. The area is beautiful and there is variety within an hour or so in every direction(Burlington, Vt to the East, Montreal, Quebec to the North and Lake Placid to the west) The people here are very friendly and the hospital is growing ands strong. Best of luck in whatever you do:)

Plattsburgh is flat, and Bear Mountain is a different mountain chain entirely.
:)
Where do you live now?
