Hi! Has anyone else applied to UPenn's ABSN program starting this June? I believe we hear back next month so it's getting close! I didn't see another thread started for this cohort so I was just reaching out...
Thanks for the info tdang09! I graduated ucla with a communications degree and did some of my prerequisites at ccp. I haven't heard anything yet, so I think the chances aren't too good for me, haha. But I just heard back from Jefferson and Drexel and have been accepted to both programs. I plan on going to Jefferson most likely and I heard their fact program is really good and they're really established in the city. I also work at wills eye hospital which is affiliated and right next door to Jefferson, so I'm familiar with them. Good luck to everyone and I guess we'll all just have to see in about two weeks? Luckily both my schools require the deposit right around the time penn sends out decisions, so I don't have to put down money just yet!
Wishing you you guys the best wherever you end up!

@stretchyourmind - sorry! I didn't know about that and hopefully it didnt get this thread into too much trouble. But, Im glad we all had good interview experiences!
@cchun - i was the one that graduated from UCLA. Class of 2013 here and good to see fellow Bruins in the nursing field! I was an International Development Studies major and did all my pre-reqs during undergrad simultaneously with my major. Did you get an interview after all?
I really do hope we all get in and get the chance to meet up in person! I just remembered a piece of statistical information my interviewer told me that may interest you (or make you more stressed out haha). She said that las year there were 600 applicants and they admitted a cohort of 89 but only about 60 decided to choose Penn. So technically, there could have been a cohort of about 90. She said they expect the same number of applicants and cohort size this year. Just fyi!
