UPenn MSN 2016

Published

Hi all,

After lots of looking through threads here on AN (and I mean, lots , :specs:) I wasn't able to find a thread for MSN applicants recently accepted to UPenn (start date, summer 2016!)- so I decided to start one.

I was recently accepted into the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program and am looking to connect with my future cohort!

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted. West Philly or university city is more affordable. I myself live at spruce hill where lotta grad students live too. Some live at center Philly which can be expensive or take trains from suburbs. I have also met ones who travel all the way from NY. Power to them!

The size of class varies depending on classes. The generic class which all students from different tracks have to take patho, pharm are 100-150. Because its also part-time and Accelerated BSN students. The clinical seminar classes are smaller supposedly 20-30. Also if you didn't get interview don't fret because I got accepted without interview. Good luck!!

I'm in for AGACNP! Summer start!

Has anyone heard for part time fall primary care pnp? I applied in early March & Has been ready for review....

Just found out I was accepted to the full time FNP program! Yes, they also gave me the nursing research class to take this summer. I'll be doing it online, since I can't move until August.

I'm hoping someone reads this and can help me out. I'm working on my compliance due by August 1st. I'm worried that my NJ license won't be up by that time, anybody having any issues with time for them?

Talked to the program director: she says New Jersey always takes forever. I think they'll understand.

Is this just for students starting clinical this year?

or for all incoming students?
