No problem! And if it helps at all, the person who led the recent Penn Nursing webinars/info sessions said that it is awkward for everyone, and that how you do can only help and not hurt your application.
The video portion is definitely awkward. I spent about 4 hours preparing for it and blew the first one big time. The 2nd one was okay. I was really hoping to have it help my application, but the format just makes the whole thing feel like a monologue rather than interview. I did the Johns Hopkins one right after, don't know the questions ahead- 30 seconds to prepare- 90 seconds to respond-1 try. I found that one to be way more comfortable.

I did a recording for Columbia and we got the questions ahead of time and each question was a separate recording so if u wanted to take a break in between u could. It was a lot less awkward than this one.
But when I recorded mine I just numbered the questions so I would say "to answer question one..." and then I'd finish and say "to answer question 2..." It made it a lot less weird for me in my opinion
Hey guys, is this thread only for ABSN or all MSN program applications?
I applied for the PMHNP track. The website indicates that for full-time Summer start we should hear back by mid-February at the latest. But I've read on former years threads that we could hear back much earlier than that? Also has anyone heard about interviews or lack thereof for PMHNP applicants?
Thank you, and good luck to everyone!
