2018 UPenn BSN/MSN

Published

Greetings fellow 2018 UPenn BSN/MSN applicants! Just thought I could start a thread for the incoming applicants so we can help each other out through the application process.

Does anyone know if we need to submit separate transcripts for study abroad programs if it's already clearly stated on our official undergraduate transcript? Thanks! : )

I think it's more of a logistical concern honestly! The commuter trains from the burbs are not stopping at all stops (including the University City stop that many Penn employees get off at) and both of the subways aren't making stops at city hall so nobody will be able to make a direct transfer between the BSL and the MFL and trolleys.

So, its possible Penn being closed may affect the admissions timeline, but folks in Philly have been preparing for tomorrow's logistical complications all week and like another poster said above, the decisions may be slowly rolled out the rest of the week. If not, I think it won't be the end of the world to wait a few more days. Good luck all!

Yeah, I completely realize that it's a logistical thing. No one can blame the Eagles for trying to win a Superbowl, which is why my impatience is somewhat unjustified in that sense! So thanks for that wake up call, haha.

However, lot's of us still have deadlines for holding spots at other schools, so another couple days could mean loosing that option or biting the bullet and paying non-refundable $. So, not the end of the world but a helluva lot more stress! ...nevertheless, this forum is great for venting!

That's what I'm wondering, too! They seem to have made a majority, if not all, of the decisions at this point!

Does there seem to be a pattern to their releases? Are acceptance letters coming out first and then rejection/waitlist or are the letters more varied?

Definitely dissapointed with how little Penn has been communicating with us throughout this process.

Has anyone heard an acceptance or rejection yet?

did anyone get any acceptance yet?

I heard they started releasing decisions

I heard they started releasing decisions

What? Details, please?

I heard they started releasing decisions

You can't just say that without giving more details... it's cruel and unusual torture ;)

But foreal, I could feel the anxiety in my stomach when reading this!

I heard they started releasing decisions

I heard they started releasing decisions

Stop playing with my heart

I hear ya, that's definitely frustrating. I've found that schools are generally helpful if you communicate and will be a little bit flexible if you need to extend the deposit deadline a bit! I doubt Penn will be behind for more than a day or two.

did you get an email yet?
