2013 UPenn BSN/MSN Applicants

Hi Everyone! This topic thread is for those applying to UPENN BSN/MSN program summer 2013. I hope we can create a support network here!

I will be applying to the nurse-midwifery and WHNP program and have begun writing my personal statement. Their application should be completely available July 15th but you should be able to create an account. Good luck everyone!

Yeah. I figured. I'm not quite sure how I am going to do this. I have a one bedroom apartment right now and I have no idea how I'm going to move all my stuff to Philly before I secure a place. (or sublet and then move in September?) I'm going to do a post to you right now in the facebook group so I can figure out who you are. haha.

Allnurses won't let me post the link, but type in "Penn ABSN/MSN summer 2013 cohort" and you should be able to find us. :)

Hi everyone... I check out of allnurses for a while... but wanted to pop back in to say that I was accepted for the BSN/MSN with PC-AGNP specialty. I've already confirmed and am excited to start the whole moving process. I don't use Facebook, but I hope to connect with my cohorts here or elsewhere -- please message me if you can! I'll also be participating in the chat later tonight.

I don't think I'm accepting Penn as it's so expensive but has anyone received their fin aid packages? They are supposed to be sending them out today

Did you apply for any of the scholarships? I think we will be hearing back sometime this week re financial aid and next week for scholarships. Come to the facebook group if you haven't already. allnurses won't let me post the link, but go to facebook and search "Penn ABSN/MSN Summer 2013 Cohort". You'll find us there!

no problem. :)

and not trying to pressure you into joining facebook again (I totally understand why it's nice to avoid it), but maybe you could check out the group through a friend/family member's account. There's so much chatter going on in the group. I don't want you to miss out. Students in the cohort above us are answering questions and giving advice. I'll definitely still answer any questions for you here if I have the scoop.
