2013 UPenn BSN/MSN Applicants

Hi Everyone! This topic thread is for those applying to UPENN BSN/MSN program summer 2013. I hope we can create a support network here!

I will be applying to the nurse-midwifery and WHNP program and have begun writing my personal statement. Their application should be completely available July 15th but you should be able to create an account. Good luck everyone!

I also got in for FNP :) So shocked and excited!!! Hopefully the financial aid package won't shattered my dreams....

Does anybody know what their average financial aid package consists of? And how much tuition comes to for the BSN and MSN portions combined?

Hey atomicgirl. The BSN totals $106,624 for tuition and fees, and the MSN is $34,850/year. So the total will really depend on how long your MSN program is, whether or not you do full-time, and if you can get any tuition reimbursement by working at a hospital in the PENN healthcare system. Hope that helps! I was running the numbers for everything last week to try to get a more concrete feel of what these programs were going to cost me.

I know it's nuts! I'm having chest pains just thinking about that kind of debt... and for a second bachelors. That doesn't even include all of your living expenses (rent, utilities, transportation, food, books, etc) :/
