2013 UPenn BSN/MSN Applicants

Hi Everyone! This topic thread is for those applying to UPENN BSN/MSN program summer 2013. I hope we can create a support network here!

I will be applying to the nurse-midwifery and WHNP program and have begun writing my personal statement. Their application should be completely available July 15th but you should be able to create an account. Good luck everyone!

I'm Pediatrics acute care (oncology). Where did it say we will know about our MSN decision within 24 hours?

I really wish we had all gotten in. Sending lots of positive energy to those who didn't. I know a group as driven and supportive as you guys will do great things in the world. :) big hugs!

I got in too for Fnp. Congrats everyone! For people who didn't get in regardless of what school we choose we will be nurses

:-) honestly I cannot fathom paying or considering Penn unless I get financial aid. :-( anyone know when we find out about financial aid?

just got the email from the MSN portion. In for Women's Health. :)

kdiem: (unless some crazy financial aid offer comes up elsewhere) I'm definitely going to Penn.

I really really like Yale too, but my heart is at Penn.

Sarahcee- I saw you've been accepted to multiple places (including UCSF) what is your top choice?

Hi kdiem. I'm honestly not sure what my first choice is at this point. Each program has something amazing about it that the others don't have. It will be a very tough choice, but I just feel so blessed that I even have a choice to make at all. Financial aid packages and scholarships will definitely play a huge role in that decision though.
