Decided to create this thread. Anyone else applied? Any insights on the interview process? Can anyone who has been through the process share their experience? Just turned in my application before the deadline.

- when do we get called for interview

- what's the sparkhire video interview like?

- is the interview behavioral or clinical based or both?

Thank you in advance

Last year they didn't send out invitations till around February. No idea how this year will be.

TPN1986 Did you apply last year? What was the interview like?

Very laid back, both the program directors are very friendly and extremely welcoming.

This is so helpful. Thank you so much. I have been really nervous. Was it clinical based questions or just a 'get to know you' interview?

The interview was less clinical then others, but they also had a huge applicant pool with very impressive stats. Definitely be prepared to answer questions about the patients you take care of on your unit is what I'd advise.

I also applied last year. I agree with what TPN had to say about the interview! I don't know how it will be this year, but last year, we waited for a long time for decisions to come out. Interviews were held around March and we didn't get the decisions until April. Goodluck!

Thank you so much. Did you get in?

Hey, yeah I was wait listed and they didn't get in touch with me until July.. I think? Unfortunately, I had to decline it because I was accepted to another program that was way cheaper and started sooner.

Oh wow. I hope your program is going great. Can you share any tips or wise words about the interview process?

Thanks! It's going good so far, almost done with the first semester. I have to admit, it was a hard decision for me but I had already left my workplace when Penn notified me.

Anyway, just be knowledgeable of the medications and procedures that you often encounter at your workplace. Be yourself---most programs try to get the students that they think are the best fit for their programs.

Also, be ready for the worst. Applying for CRNA school is a tough time, but you just have to show them that you are passionate about what CRNAs do and why you want to be part of it.

I am sure that you will get your turn soon, good luck!

I got an email for an interview today! Does anyone know any specific questions that they would ask?
