It's official!! I got my quick results from Pearson vue today, and then checked the NYS BON website, and my license number was up there already!! So a tip for you fellow test-takers: Try checking your BON site first, before you pay for your quick results, because you may be able to save some money :) (not that it's a lot, buy hey....any little bit counts)

I read Kaplan's strategies, practice and review 2011-2012 from front to back, and read about half of the Saunders review book. I also had an app on my iPhone for NCLEX review that was really good! The questions were very similar to Kaplan's and NCLEX! Everyone studies differently, I personally studied on and off for about 3 months. I would study for a few days in a row, like 100-300 questions a day, and then I would go a few days without....you can't kill yourself. Sometimes you just need a break and remember there is NO way you are going to remember every single thing you learned! You can't possibly. Just concentrate on lab values, major common diseases/disorders, and common meds. You WILL get meds you have never even heard of and don't panic, just try to look at and determine if it sounds like an abx, blood pressure med, or whatever. Also, I highly suggest Kaplan because it really helps you, I swear by it! I failed my LPN boards my first time around, because I only used Saunders to study from. I bought Kaplan, and passed second time! Now, with my RN boards, Kaplan was the first book I bought and passed first time! :D Good luck to you!

congrats!

--whats the iphone app you have called?

--what edition of saunders did you use?

congrats again :D!!!
