Hi!
I start Nursing School this fall and I am unsure on what type of shoes to purchase for clinicals. I hate shoes and leaning towards nursing Crocs, but unsure on that also. I have RA in my knees and back and find being close to barefoot is best! :)
I am sooooo welcoming any suggestions!! :)
Thank You!

Try Birkenstocks. I got the Alpro line, white clogs. Love them, super comfy, but pricy at over $100 bucks. My school makes you wear all leather so I couldn't get Crocs, which are my favorite. I think Birkenstocks feel even better than Crocs!

Make sure than your school's nursing program approves of the shoes that you get for clinical rotations. Both of the schools that I have attended had specific requirements that constituted an acceptable pair of shoes for clinical. They basically had to be white, leather or synthetic, with no holes or vinyl mesh, close-toed, with no heels exposed.

I have a pair of the Crocs Specialist (in white) - they do not have any holes in them. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! My only gripe is that they aren't slip-resistant, so I would suggest getting those (Crocs Bistro). The only difference (other than the non-skid sole) is that the Specialist are $29.99 and the Bistro are $39.99.
