UNLV SON Summer 2018

Comment below your points if you are applying to the Summer 2018 nursing cohort at UNLV

You just sit down and go over all the unlv bsn preparation stuff and sign and initial. Its not a long process.

That is not a lot of students, I guess. How was it? Do you think the cut off is going to be higher? Mine is on the 16th.

I had mine today, and it was very short. My signing session had eight people (including me). The session is very short. As what he said, you just sign papers and leave. I think the cutoff is going to be 93.

Usually its a full session when theres 12 students...hopefully no may apply so the cut off can be lower than 93 giving other pple a shot in getting in.

Well I'm really glad these signing sessions aren't full! It would really give more people a shot at getting in. I'll let you guys know how many are in mine, I'm signed up for next week

Hey, everyone. I am debating whether i should apply with a 93, or wait to apply for the fall where after retaking my class I would reach about 94.8 points. Both ways it is risky, but I would appreciate some feedback. Have you guys met a lot of people with high scores?

I don't know it is hard to know for sure with the fluctuating score all the time. But I think if you have 93 and higher and you have never applied before ( this is your first time), you should apply.

@aprilie22 I think you should apply. Compared with other cohorts, the summer tends to be the lowest because no one really applies. And if this is your first time applying, I do not see why not. and if you don't get in summer, I'm sure a 94.8 is a competitive score for the fall.

If its your first time you should apply just in case because you are in the 93's. However I do think the cut off will be around the 93.3-93.8 range, why not try you never know it might be 93 flat.

Hi guys! My signing session had 10 people.

Can someone help me figure out how to calculate score? I have:

A&P I, II, Micro, Chem 108: A-

Math 126 and NURS299: A

HESI Score: A&P 92%, Reading and grammar 86%, math 76%.

Do I have a chance?

@Beldar_the_Cenobite You have around a 90 overall. Your gpa score is good but if you did better on your hesi than you would be more competitive. The hesi carries a lot of weight towards the overall score.
