    US citizen to Canada

Hello, I was just curious how long the process is in becoming a nurse in Canada when I am a U.S. citizen. I plan to stay here in Las Vegas, Nv for two years then move to Canada. Does anyone have any advice or tips they can give me to make this process easier? I just have no idea who to reach out to in order to ask for such advice. Thank You

I would recommend not working if you have that option. Just heard from others its just almost impossible if you want to do well. Also whoever mentioned the groupme idea I would like to do that too.

Correct, as effective of fall 2016, you are only allowed to apply to UNLV nursing program twice. After that, you need to try somewhere else.

after taking the hesi two times, you cannot retake again, however they do take the higher of the score. Also you can take the hesi again whenever the next test date is offered

@Beldar_the_Cenobite You have around a 90 overall. Your gpa score is good but if you did better on your hesi than you would be more competitive. The hesi carries a lot of weight towards the overall score.

If its your first time you should apply just in case because you are in the 93's. However I do think the cut off will be around the 93.3-93.8 range, why not try you never know it might be 93 flat.

You just sit down and go over all the unlv bsn preparation stuff and sign and initial. Its not a long process.
