UNLV NURSING FALL 2020 COHORT

Hey guys! I noticed there's no forums on unlv nursing for fall 2020 cohort. Wondering where we all stand for this application cycle so we can all get an idea of the points applying. I stand at a 96.5. I am hoping that is good enough because I was told it's gotten more competitive lately. If you post, please post your points as well or your predicted points just so we all have an idea ? good luck to everyone and stay safe out there!

I hope so too! Last Fall (2019) they emailed 3 days after the deadline. So hopefully soon for us!!

I definitely will! I'm afraid my score may be too low. I just keep reminding myself that if I don't, then I just retake the HESI since I know where my weak spot is. Then just reapply for Spring 2021.

I have a coworkers family member who got the denial email Monday. I was told they had two Bs in bio and scored 89% on the HESI.

Do they know what their overall score was? I'm a 93.09. I haven't received anything yet. I'm sorry about your friend ?

unfortunately I do not know their score, I felt really bad I didn’t want to ask my coworker what they got. I hope that because we haven’t received an email yet it means we made it! LOL maybe they emailed the people who didn’t make it right away? I hope. I found a YouTuber who got into the program in 2019, and their cut off score was 92! So I feel like if we are above 92 we have a good chance of getting in!

yes! please remember that you can always retake the HESI as well! and with COVID going on I really doubt there are many applicants ? keep your heads up!! do you mind me asking what your total points are @Mastiffmom24

@bluexlouis My total points are 93.09. So not terribly low, but not high. A week before cut off, there were 135 applications in. Still haven't gotten an email yet. Hopefully that's a good sign ?

@Mastiffmom24 that would be amazing if the cut-off scores are 92. I see there are a lot of people here with amazing scores, so we'll see. Good luck!!
