UNLV NURSING FALL 2020 COHORT

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey guys! I noticed there's no forums on unlv nursing for fall 2020 cohort. Wondering where we all stand for this application cycle so we can all get an idea of the points applying. I stand at a 96.5. I am hoping that is good enough because I was told it's gotten more competitive lately. If you post, please post your points as well or your predicted points just so we all have an idea ? good luck to everyone and stay safe out there!

@ariolasgranola I'm guessing they got through a certain amount of accepted applicants today, and probably going to finish tomorrow. I'm partially wishful thinking over here though. Someone said that someone they knew got a denial email on Monday. ? we both get in!

You’re probably right! Tomorrow should be the day then ? I’m nervous but goodluck!! Hope we get in ?

Hey guys,

Just got my email. Wasn't accepted this round...

Hopefully I get in for Spring.

Good luck everyone and congratulations to all that got in!

Same, I didn't get in either. Going to retake my HESI.

Unfortunately I didn’t get in with a 93.28, but I am very hopeful for Spring! ? CONGRATS to all those who got in & to those who didn’t, we got this!!

@onionpancake Hello, am I able to connect with you via social media? facebook or instagram. I am looking to apply for Spring and I have questions about how you maintained your grades and did so well on the HESI. Hope to hear back soon!!

Hi, yes of course! I'm not too proud of my grades, but I am more than willing to help. Feel free to reach out to and message me on instagram @/qutea2

Hello everyone,

I'm planning to apply to UNLV's nursing program in 2021. To the ones that got in, how are the exams for each class structured like how many questions will be on each exam especially for Level 1 for classes? Also, I've heard from previous nursing students about the tricky 'select all that apply questions', - how many of these sata questions should I need to look out for the exams? Your help will be much appreciated.

Hey! Each class will have its own kind of thought process/study strategies (in my opinion), however, a lot of the information overlaps. So you'll kind of need to see what works best for you when it comes to studying.
As for SATA and other exam q's-I don't have an exact number for each exam but practice questions will be your best bet to getting comfortable with them! If you want to get in touch, you can find me on FB ?
