University of West Florida (UWF) FNP - Spring 2026

Published

I was hoping to connect with other folks who have applied for or intend to apply for the Spring 2026 FNP cohort at UWF.

I applied for early admission, the advisor said about two weeks for decisions to go out.

Anyone else?

I'm glad someone heard something. Thanks for update! Also, just checking is the per credit rate $500 for in state. Just making sure

Yes! $500 per credit hour is what I was told . Which isn't bad at all. I moved to this area from Saint Louis, MO and when I tried to apply to FNP program there 2 years ago they told me it's 950$/credit hour . Another university out there was 1250$/ credit . The cheapest program I've ever seen personally was 450$/credit in Louisiana .

so west Florida is pretty fair with their costs !

Just curious if anyone has heard anything for regular admission for Spring 2026? I thought we would have had news last week, but still nothing for me...

Nothing here yet ... 😞

I got to call on Friday that decisions would be out starting today

Am I the only one who's still awaiting decision? I was told 11/15 also. I'm going absolutely crazy!

No, mine says "pending decision" as well.

its so frustrating!! Like, just make up your mind guys.
I know we are all awesome nurses with lots of experience and knowledge to contribute, and I'm sure it's a tough choice for them because there's too many great nurses to pick from. But come on, man. They can't just tell us 1 month before the classes start.

Agree this is crazy how do they expect people to find out a month prior and so close to all federal holidays. Fingers crossed they say something today . Good luck to all of us

Mine still says in review as of this am, it has not moved from that since oct

Yup! Heard nothing

I'm upset because my "advisor" called me to tell me I was missing transcripts on the Friday that the applications were closing. He said he'll send my app anyway. It was for online classes I took years ago. It was too late at that point to add them (like a few hours before EOD!). I'm sure I will be denied because of that but I just want to know!

Mine still says "In Review". I'm thankful that I was accepted at University of Alabama. I can't believe that they are waiting this long....how do they expect people to get everything in order to start school in a month

Same here for the early decision I was called the day before saying an Air Force transcript (that's not even credit applied) was needed by end of day. Frustrating

Good morning,

I've noticed that most of my updates, including my acceptance, came in on Friday afternoons, so try not to stress. There is a good chance you will hear something this Friday! When we met with the advisor yesterday, it showed 25 total seats with only 10 filled, which means there are still 15 open spots. So keep your spirits up, because you are definitely still in this!
