I was hoping to connect with other folks who have applied for or intend to apply for the Spring 2026 FNP cohort at UWF.
I applied for early admission, the advisor said about two weeks for decisions to go out.
Anyone else?
No, mine says "pending decision" as well.
its so frustrating!! Like, just make up your mind guys.
I know we are all awesome nurses with lots of experience and knowledge to contribute, and I'm sure it's a tough choice for them because there's too many great nurses to pick from. But come on, man. They can't just tell us 1 month before the classes start.
I'm upset because my "advisor" called me to tell me I was missing transcripts on the Friday that the applications were closing. He said he'll send my app anyway. It was for online classes I took years ago. It was too late at that point to add them (like a few hours before EOD!). I'm sure I will be denied because of that but I just want to know!
Good morning,
I've noticed that most of my updates, including my acceptance, came in on Friday afternoons, so try not to stress. There is a good chance you will hear something this Friday! When we met with the advisor yesterday, it showed 25 total seats with only 10 filled, which means there are still 15 open spots. So keep your spirits up, because you are definitely still in this!

Yes! $500 per credit hour is what I was told . Which isn't bad at all. I moved to this area from Saint Louis, MO and when I tried to apply to FNP program there 2 years ago they told me it's 950$/credit hour . Another university out there was 1250$/ credit . The cheapest program I've ever seen personally was 450$/credit in Louisiana .
so west Florida is pretty fair with their costs !
