University of West Florida (UWF) FNP - Spring 2026

UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

I was hoping to connect with other folks who have applied for or intend to apply for the Spring 2026 FNP cohort at UWF.  

I applied for early admission, the advisor said about two weeks for decisions to go out.  

Anyone else?

Is it for the Summer 26 session for UA?

I received a call yesterday saying we should know something by the end of the week (Oct 10). My advisor also wanted to make sure I had all of my financial aid and tuition payment plan ready to go. So, hopefully the wait will be over soon!

Has anyone heard anything? My status changed to "awaiting decision." Hoping they make decisions soon so I can apply for a different program if I'm not accepted into this one. 😅

Haven't heard anything. My status still says "In Review- pending decision". I'm hoping they let us know today and not wait through the weekend...

My status is still, "in review." I received an email yesterday about referring other people to the program.  At about 1500, I missed a call from the advisor stating they are still waiting on decisions.  I wonder what the difference is between in review and awaiting decision.  I hope we hear something today.

I got an email just now stating I was not chosen for early admission, and they will be reviewing it again after 11/1. 
I'm glad I was accepted at University of Alabama! Whew .

Well, I just received the same email.  However, I will most likely withdrawal my application and go to my alma mater.  I have been a nurse for 18 years and have a 3.86 undergrad GPA.  So this program may be too advanced for me if the applicant pool is more qualified.  I will speak with an admissions counselor, I do not want to enter a program that has expectations beyond my abilities.

Yes, I did.  I spoke with the admissions staff today also, they staff should know if you are admitted!  Good Luck!
