University of Washington's BSN program 2014

Published

Good morning!

So I'm going to try this whole process over again, as a repeat offender...I mean applicant for UW's BSN program 2014. I applied last year, made it through the proctored essay portion but was not accepted. After nursing (haha) my wounds w/ large amounts of ice cream, chocolate & such, I've recently found my mojo to try again. Anyone else re-applying or 1st time applying for 2014? I know it's extremely early in the game, but those deadlines come up faster than you think! I've saved all the tips applicants that have applied more than once and hope that 2nd time is the charm.

Anyone else out there getting ready for it? We got this :D

WSU will be mid- to end of March to notify for interviews, then April for decisions. I applied to two MSN programs and the deadlines were in November and December. Should be hearing about SU in the next few weeks about whether I move on to the interview stage, and PLU said I may not hear until April (although anytime between now and then!).

When does UW notify after the proctor?

I think they let us know end of March last year

This week and next week is taking forever!

I'm second guessing everything I wrote, along with everything I'm writing for my plu applications. :(

I'm so worried I won't get invited to the proctor. I have some prerequisites to take still.

But you're an LPN, I thought all the pre-reqs were the same?

I did some of that too (second guessing, wishing I had written something else, etc.). Oh well. I KNOW I felt good about my essays when I sealed those envelopes up; I just have to remember that!

Funny thing - I am soooo glad I checked on my application. The post office site still says pending delivery, two weeks later!!

I'm an LPN and no the prerequisites are not the same. I have to take O Chen yet.

I didn't realize that, well is there a stipulation they must be done by a certain date or just done before admittance?

There is a certain amount that has to be done to apply and then all must be done before you start.
