So I'm going to try this whole process over again, as a repeat offender...I mean applicant for UW's BSN program 2014. I applied last year, made it through the proctored essay portion but was not accepted. After nursing (haha) my wounds w/ large amounts of ice cream, chocolate & such, I've recently found my mojo to try again. Anyone else re-applying or 1st time applying for 2014? I know it's extremely early in the game, but those deadlines come up faster than you think! I've saved all the tips applicants that have applied more than once and hope that 2nd time is the charm.

Yes, you can do that pretty easily. My school has an agreement with UW Bothell and they accept about 95% of the students who apply (from my school) each year. So that's helpful
Don't forget, if we're re-invited to do the essay... Reason you may not have passed the essay part (my reason for sure) "The applicant submitted essay responses that did not indicate a clear line of thinking with supported rationale, evidence of critical thinking and self-reflection, and/or problem solving". This is directly from the admissions blog
I remember there were questions about strengths and weaknesses from the patient you picked. I'm not sure if I should go off my strengths and weaknesses from my personal essays from the admissions or create new ones lol. I can't remember what other parts were for the proctored essay. I might have written it down somewhere...I'm gonna check my computer at work tomorrow. Ugh I just want to know already!!
I remember that time. I had trouble answering the questions bc I felt like the questions were repetitive hence it was hard for me to find stuff to say differently. It seems like they want to know how much you know about your self.

I am new to the site, and I have been reading this thread. I am relieved to see that I am not the only one who hasn't received an e-mail yet. I will post when I get mine, hopefully some of you will do the same.
