Hi NP hopefuls! Starting a thread for those applying to the UVic NP Program for fall 2025. I am an RN who graduated from U of C in 2020 and have been working in cardiology in Calgary since.

My status hasn't changed yet, my last name starts with R, so maybe there is hope left

I caved and called. If your status does not change today, you are not part of the first 50 seats offered. She told me they had over 260 applicants. This week they aim to send over waitlist emails including what number of the waitlist you are. People offered seats have two weeks to say yes or no initially. If you are fully rejected you should also find out this week.

Sorry guys, not great news for so many of us. Feeling pretty beat down at this point.

this is awful. Thanks for the update @ERNurseHailey

Oh gos, OK thanks for the info. Maybe some people got accepted to multiple programs and hopefully took their first acceptance offers. So I guess people will be notified if they're on a waiting list?

Yes depending on what number you are on the wait list. She said that they have even let people off the wait list two weeks into the semester (no thank you!) and there is always movement leading up (with stats, other plans).
