Members are discussing their application statuses for a program, with some receiving acceptance emails, others still waiting for updates, and some being waitlisted or rejected. There is also talk about creating a Facebook group for those who have been accepted and sharing tips on improving applications for future cycles.
Hi NP hopefuls! Starting a thread for those applying to the UVic NP Program for fall 2025. I am an RN who graduated from U of C in 2020 and have been working in cardiology in Calgary since.
I caved and called. If your status does not change today, you are not part of the first 50 seats offered. She told me they had over 260 applicants. This week they aim to send over waitlist emails including what number of the waitlist you are. People offered seats have two weeks to say yes or no initially. If you are fully rejected you should also find out this week.
Sorry guys, not great news for so many of us. Feeling pretty beat down at this point.
this is awful. Thanks for the update @ERNurseHailey

Yes depending on what number you are on the wait list. She said that they have even let people off the wait list two weeks into the semester (no thank you!) and there is always movement leading up (with stats, other plans).

A colleague of mine's status just changed now she said. I wonder if they are doing it in alphabetical order or something? She is a P?
