I am planning to apply to the 2014 AE MSN program, at UT Austin, in August. I noticed that this site has A LOT of helpful feedback. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best preparations when applying to these competitive programs? My GPA is a 3.6, I have a BS in Health Science, I have worked in health care administration for 14 years and I am ready for a change. I just want to feel confident about my application and would appreciate any advice.
Natavid, I heard last Thursday morning at 9:30. I too was very anxious, constantly checking my email. Based on this feed it sounds like no one has heard from maternity, so I wouldn't be too worried. I know me saying that isn't going to help though.. Ltmalli, I also checked through the feed from last year and it sounded like people from the same concentration area heard at slightly different times. I think we might see you all get answers by tomorrow or next week hopefully!
I sent my transcript to the coordinating sponsor (I don't think we are allowed to say names). She then uploaded it for us, that's at least what the emails were saying to do. She then confirmed receiving it. Let me know if that doesn't sound right!
I also received an acceptance letter today for the Nursing Administration concentration! Email came in around 10:30am. I was surprised because all classes at UT were cancelled today! Good luck to everyone else waiting. I'm excited to meet y'all in June.
Hey, I was accepted to the Child Health concentration. Super pumped, but I'm considering requesting deferment for a year...I work at a foster care program, and have been working closely with a child for the last 5 months who is supposed to remain with us for another 6-9 months. I want to stay here until he leaves. I saw a comment earlier in the thread mentioning someone had deferred the 2013 class...can anyone provide details on that process?

Ltmali, im the same way.. im trying to remain chill. Things for me are tough right now in family life, so im trying not to stress.
