Hi, I just got accepted for the Spring 2023 Cohort and was looking to find other students that were either applying or have been accepted.

I am also applying to the fall 2023 cohort! I definitely agree that the program looks promising and the time frame to finish is exciting. I also have a pretty high GPA and CNA/pct experience as well!

And is it true that is basically self taught and teacher don put up power point? Have a lot of people failed out of your cohort? I know these are a lot of questions but thanks in advance I just want to make sure I'm choosing the right program for me .
HI,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me what they think about the program I have the same concerns. I read a lot of terrible reviews online and am a bit scared to be honest to attend the school.
Did you guys got accepted? What do you think of the program? Is it true that the tests do not match the material?
TIA

Hi! I got accepted and I am currently in my first semester. I like the program alot and have made lots of friends. The program is not as bad as those reviews were saying in my honest opinion. It's alot of work, and the program moves by very quickly, but with hard work and dedication you can and will make it through. As of now I finished my first two courses with an A+ and B+ which isn't bad to start. The tests I have taken has matched the materials we have covered in class so far, the professors do not put extra content on the exam. The exams in every class is straightfoward and it is basically you know the question or you don't. I would recommend this program!
Let me know if you have any questions!

What location and program are you attending? The ABSN or the BSN and Houston or Shenandoh ?

Hello, I am changing careers and currently taking some of the prerequisites to apply for Spring 2025. I have a couple of questions:
I did read a different blog and it was all negative things about the program of how unorganized it was and that the material and the professors was horrible. Can you share your experience, this is quite scary and glad I found this platform to do more research.
In the prerequisites, this is the only school that did not require lab for Microbiology and the anatomy classes. Is this normal? other schools in the area require.
How are the exams? are they truly related to the material that the professors cover or is it not matching? I read horrendous reviews and I am praying that someone out there is actually having a pleasant experience with the program. Considering the amount the program costs.
Any scholarships that you may know that can assist in paying for the program.
Anyone help is appreciated 🙂

Hi! I would say not to read the reviews and make the experience your own. I'm currently halfway through my second semester and I've enjoyed it so far. The professors give you plenty of resources and the exams have matched what is taught in class. They require all of the science classes because I had to retake some due to making a C in them. You've got to make a B or higher in all of the science courses. I've enjoyed the experience I've had and it's been nothing like all of the reviews

Hi! I just got accepted for fall 2024 and I too read some scary reviews online...my mom makes just enough to where I will never qualify for money from the govt (but I have to pay for school) and the scholarship they offered just won't be enough. I was wondering if it is truly worth it to spend the money for UST and if there are other current students who have been having good experiences! Thanks 🙂
