Anyone have any insight on this program? I'm in the process of applying and would love to know about the school!
ok statement done and app submitted!! only problem is the formatting i used notepad as suggested and it still looked funky once the app was saved and submitted. anyone else have this problem?????also @cna sam thank you for the valuable information you rock!!!!
the formatting of my statement also messed up once i submitted my application. i emailed the nursing dept. about the issue, and i was told that when the applications are printed for review, they should revert back to their original format. the email also said that they are still working out the kinks in their new system, and if the statements don't print correctly, it won't be held against us. i was totally shocked after i submitted my essay and saw what it looked like in the system!
Hey everyone thanks for your wonderful discussion posts. I have read all the way back to the first post. I applied to the upper division program for summer of 2011. Even though most of these posts have been for the accelerated program it still has really helped me since the upper division program is becoming more like the accelerated program in terms of admission. This is the first semester that upper division applicants include a personal statement and a resume in their application. I can’t wait till we find out if we are in!
Hey I submitted my app and it's at Comittee as well. MY overall GPA is 3.59 and prerequisuite is 3.88. (That B in Sociology ****** me off) But I'm a little nervous since I don't have a nursing background. I was in the Army before I started going to school. Man it's going to be a tense couple of weeks waiting to see if I got in. I need this because I don't want to waste time at a 2year RN school. I'd much rather get the full BSN then further my education to NP,PA, or even MD.
