University of South Alabama (USA) Spring 2022 BSN-DNP

Published

Hi! Has anyone applied to the Spring 2022 cohort for BSN-DNP FNP/ACGNP at South Alabama? I’m hoping it doesn’t take 8 weeks to find out if I’m in! Has anyone received an email about acceptance? I’m getting really anxious!

Specializes in ICU.

I was accepted into the dual family/acute care MSN program starting in Spring. Just wondering who else will be in that track?

Specializes in Psych.

For those who just accepted. What are ya'll GPAs? I will start on Fall 2022 hopefully. Is 3.2 enough?

That should be fine... from most research I've done, USA has a pretty high acceptance rate as long as you meet the requirements.

Thank you. I'm applying for MSN-DNP adding a new specialization. I probably won't hear anything until next year.

Specializes in Emergency Room, Labor and Delivery, Nurse Educator.

I got my acceptance letter a few weeks ago. I will be in the BSN-DNP-PNP-AC

Hi all, I just received my acceptance email for the Summer MSN FNP, I’m curious if any of you from the Spring semester have any input yet. The acceptance process seems complicated, I was also accepted to FNU and that is my first choice but still considering USA since the tuition seems to be less. Any input will be appreciated. Thank you.

Got my acceptance letter for DNP Nurse executive in the fall 2022. Yay! To those who already started, how do you all like the program so far?

Specializes in FNP, Case management.

How has the program been? Looking to apply for Spring 2022 to the DNP psych. Need feedback on support, workload and if able to continue working full time while completing the program

I’m not sure I’m willing to take that type of blind shot. I’m hoping to look at the CAP affiliation list once we get our packet so I can at least be somewhat prepared

Some school actually do clinical placement. I just happen to like the fact that USA offers a dual program BSN to DNP. It’s the only one I found

Hey there, was just wondering how are classes going so far? Just got accepted for the BSN-DNP PMHNP program for fall 2022

Specializes in ICU.

Congratulations everyone!  I just wanted to reach out to see how everyone is doing in the program and if it is going well?

@RoniBSN2021   I'm from California as well and just applied. Any issues with clinicals or testing to get NP license that you have heard of? Hard to get information. I don't want to go to school then realize it was for nothing due to location. Many programs just put "contact your state board"

Specializes in Surgical, CVICU & Oncology, Med/Surg.

Just got my acceptance email!! Super excited!

Hi IvyNurse1908, I have applied to this school for their DNP-ACNP program. The deadline is not until June so I am to wait at least 2weeks after the deadline to hear back. I wanted to find out, can you give a little insight on the program so far? I'm curious to know how it is...is it all online? I'm based in another state in the east coast. How is it? How about choice for clinicals?
