Hi! Has anyone applied to the Spring 2022 cohort for BSN-DNP FNP/ACGNP at South Alabama? I’m hoping it doesn’t take 8 weeks to find out if I’m in! Has anyone received an email about acceptance? I’m getting really anxious!
I submitted by the early deadline so I’m assuming we were notified around the same time. As for those that submitted after that deadline I’m not sure if done on a rolling basis or if you’ll have to wait for the last dead line. I inquired about this before I submitted my application and I was given a very vague answer so I went ahead and made sure to make the early deadline. They pretty much just told me to submit ASAP to increase the likely hood of me getting in. I didn’t feel like my application stats were strong enough to hold out.

Oh wow. Thank you. Hoping to hear soon, if I did not make it to Spring 2022, Summer 2022 possibly.
I honestly wouldn’t count you out. A lot of people are just submitting I’m sure. Wouldn’t be a second deadline if it wasn’t necessary.
I personally felt like my application was on the weaker side. That’s why I didn’t want to risk it. I only had a 3.5 GPA and a few years of experience. My essay is likely what saved my butt. I have VERY unique purpose.

I have seen posts about getting in with less than 3.0 for BSN. I think it depends how many applications they get. Where did you get your MSN? Was that through USA?

How long did you hear from them from the day you completed all the applications including the Nursing CAS? My CAS was just verified today.
