Hi all I got my acceptance email yesterday for the Summer FNP track. It seems like the acceptance process has a lot of steps LOL! I was also accepted at FNU but still considering USA for their tuition cost, I would like to get a bit more input on the program if anyone has any info I would appreciate it! Thank you!

The acceptance process seems complicated, I was also accepted to FNU and that is my first choice but still considering USA since the tuition seems to be less. Any input will be appreciated. Hi everyone, I’ve looked into United States University FNP and would like input from students that are currently in the program or have completed it. I’m in Nevada, if anyone from NV has completed this program I would love to know about the experience finding preceptors and studying/taking the state exam. Thanks.

Sorry to hear you feel this way. I am also a fairly new grad 6 months into a new grad program, we also have a contract for 2 years with the hospital but the program is only 1 year. I would suggest you talk to the head of the program, in my program we meet once a month they may be able to change your preceptor or move you to another unit that maybe a better fit. How long until you are on our own without a preceptor? mine was 12 weeks with a preceptor and now that I am on my own I feel I can breathe!

nursebrenna,RN, BSN I hope we give some hope to those that are waiting just like we were! I also got the additional questions for the research section, it took me about 25-35 minutes to complete it, or at least it felt like that long.

The PVT worked!! I took nclex 7/6 at 0800 and was done at 75 questions, I did the PVT about 6 hours after I finished and had the "good pop up" it states that you recently scheduled and another registration can be made at this time, this really helped me relax a little bit for the rest of the day but I was still so anxious that I tried again after 24 hours of taking the exam and got the same message. However if you're anything like me after taking the nlcex you just want to know and be sure so I kept looking on the BON verification page like every few hours and nothing I also check Nursys a million times!! I wanted to cry!! I finally got the quick results from Pearson vue at 0600 today 7/8 and it says Pass!!! I kept checking for quick results also like every few hours and in the middle of the night because I could not sleep from the anxiety. I'm from Nevada.
