Just wondering if anyone here applied for USA's PMHNP program for fall 2020? It's my top program at this point. I know we won't hear for quite a while yet since the application deadline is Feb 28, but just looking to commiserate on the wait with others!

So they split up the writing classes so you don’t have so many at one time for the didactic courses? Also, is it possible to work full time and do the program full time? Which state are you in? What was your GPA to get in the program? Sorry for so many questions and thank you for answering them.
I’m on the post masters certificate track so I’m done with all the writing, patho Stats, etc. Hang in there- it goes fast :)
I’m taking intro to Family PsychNP and it’s associated course and I work FT as an FNP. Clinicals - I will try to work my schedule around it :) FT Work is .... required by my circumstance so I’ll do my best to balance?

My GPA wasn’t high so I didn’t get accepted the first time I applied due to the high volume of applicants. Second time I did. I am in PA.
I feel like this might also be the case with me. But each state is different so I guess you will never know until you apply.

WOW! that’s great that you can balance everything. I am just worried about sleep and cognitive functioning mainly.
Hello all,
Just got accepted to the Spring 2021 BSN-MSN Family Psych NP Program for USA, wondering if anyone can give any insight on what to expect and what I can do now to prepare, excited but of course a little nervous getting back into school mode. If anyone can give any helpful tips to best prepare I would appreciate it ?

Which state are you from? I was wondering if it’s true that they are only accepting certain states’ applicants at this time. I have not applied yet but was looking for info on the program as well.
