Published

Hey guys....Im curious if I get any bites. Has anyone out there applied to the USA Nursing program??? I have and Im waiting to hear something back at this point. Just wanted to share in the excitement should we get accepted. :)

Yeah...id like to know your GPA as well if you dont mind sharing. Im not too sure about funding...i have the G.I. Bill so my tuition will be covered. ...I DO know that South has a $250 scholarship available for nurses on the website tho...its not much but every little bit helps ya know. Congrats on getting in. :-)

Congrats on getting in!

Yay! I can't wait to meet you!!!

Did they mention when the acceptance packets were going out?

Packets get mailed this Friday!!! Ill have to check out that online scholarship!! Fast Web was a dud... My GPA is a 3.9 for nursing prerequisites and overall college I have a 3.5. My BA is in Psychology and I plan on going all the way through till I get my NP

I am trying to get as much stuff crossed off the lists so I can send it back before the deadline..stupid shots. 9 weeks from today!

Wow!....your G.P.A. is impressive. Hats of to you. :-) Thanks for the info on the packets. Do you know when orientation starts? You should also try schoolsoup.com and see if that helps any. Good luck! ..."Futurenurse" have you applied to any other schools in Mobile?

Wow your GPA is impressive! No wonder you were accepted! And congrats again! I didn't look into any other schools in Mobile actually. I currently attend South to finish up my pre-reqs and was hoping to be able to proceed into the Fall here as well. How about you Lexis?

I finished from south back in 2006. Right now Im in El Paso TX (Army) but if Im accepted then Im ready to pack up and will GLADLY drive all 18 hours back to Mobile. I applied to a school out here and at Bishop, Faulkner, and even Jefferson Davis in Brewton. Id much rather do the accelerated program and be done in 12 months but I will go to a community college if need be. Faulkner has a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX. .that says alot....I just need a crystal ball to see how the cards fall.

And you haven't heard anything from South? I've thought about emailing or calling them but I'm not sure what good that would do.

Nope...but Eeleye said packets go out Friday...ill just wait. The lady that answers the phone is only going to say that letters will be mailed by the end of the month.

For those of you who have been accepted, did you receive any information (via email) regarding Financial Aid for the 2015-2016 school year? I did today, but at the same time, I haven't been notified of an acceptance so I haven't registered for classes for that year and I'm a bit confused as to what this means.
