University of South Alabama accelerated program 2015

Hey guys....Im curious if I get any bites. Has anyone out there applied to the USA Nursing program??? I have and Im waiting to hear something back at this point. Just wanted to share in the excitement should we get accepted. :)

Sorry for the late response. I,too, applied to the accelerated program as well. Im SO nervous and ready all the same. Has anyone heard anything about the curriculum?...like is it really that bad or is it doable?

If yall dont mind me asking...what are your GPAs for the ranking courses??? Also, do any of you know how many will be accepted into the program?

I also applied to both the accelerated and traditional programs (just in case). I've been told that for the accelerated program about 75 students will interview and 30-35 are selected for the program. They get about 200 applicants.

Oh so no pressure LOL. I wonder how they handle the ones that check the put me in traditional" box..are we in for the Fall or on a wait list...I just want to get accepted and this waiting is....well...painful..

I've spoken to the head of the accelerated program before and she said we get priority for the accelerated program first and if we don't get into that program then they look at our application for the traditional if you wanted to be considered. I'm good with either program!

I applied to both as well just incase as well (a.k.a backup plan). I must say… I've heard various information/feedback on the admissions process. I have a friend who recently graduated from the program, and she never had an interview. She just received a letter in the mail. I just want to know! I'm failing miserably at patiently waiting.

So I just got a phone call about an interview..setting it up for tomorrow afternoon or Friday (waiting for her to respond)...wow..I almost vomited getting that call not going to lie. Let me know if you all hear something soon and if any of you know exactly what happens during the process..she said it wouldn't take long

Thank you! I am NERVOUS..I have had a final Tues and Wed night and another one tonight..I need this week to end! She said it wouldn't take long AT ALL..my brain is already fried so hopefully nothing too crazy HA

I'm sure the questions will be pretty basic: why you want to be a nurse, why this program, etc. Just take a deep breath! This is so exciting for you! Let us know how it goes!
