University of San Diego MEPN 2016

Hi all!!! I know it is early but I thought I would start this thread. Is anyone else getting their information ready and applying for Fall 2016?

Hopefully you pick the best fit for you! I'm a San Diego native so I'll definitely be staying here and will be living at home!

I'm not sure when it is due. I would assume by late March or Early April

Hi Karms,

No I didnt and unfortunately graduate admissions won't give login info..I guess they only did it once back in November. When I called they said we have to wait for decisions in the mail :(

Hi Jilly65 (and everyone else too),

I just called the admissions office and they explained to me that if you didn't receive an email previously (could be in the junk folder), everyone should be receiving an email with their information by Friday 3-4 PM. The advisor was also able to confirm that decision letters were already mailed earlier this week and by Friday we should have receive the letter in the mail as well. If you don't get an email on Friday, the advisor recommended calling after 4 PM before they close at 5PM.

Congrats to Kris and everyone else that got in!

I'm freaking out! I still haven't heard anything or received an email to access a student portal. So, I'm a bit confused - are all applicants given a portal access regardless if they get accepted or rejected? Or do all applicants get an email for portal access and from there applicants can see if they are accepted or rejected? Keeping my fingers crossed! :nailbiting:

Thanks Tom! To my understanding, I believe all applicants were supposed to have gotten an email for portal access, but it looks like the ball was dropped somewhere in the process since only some applicants received USD logins. Hopefully letters in the mail come soon, but according to karms4, it looks like all the other applicants will be getting their logins tomorrow. Stay hopeful and optimistic! After learning about your background and experiences, I think you've got a great shot!

Hi karms4,

What was the advisors number so that I can call in case I don't receive my portal by 4pm? The only number I am aware of is the SON main number and the person wasn't willing to give much information.

Hi! I just received my acceptance letter through the mail!

@Kris,

It said on the letter that our payment is due March 24th! This 1000 dollars will go towards our tuition! Thank goodness !

I received my letter today... Waitlist. I guess its better than nothing :) and I'm in Nor Cal...so I would assume you would get yours before me?

Also got waitlisted... how do we find out our waitlist rank? Hope we're high on it!

Also, do you think they even rejected anyone in this round? Or did they just put all the interviewees on the waitlist that they couldn't accept?

It would be helpful to know how dense the waitlist is haha
