Hey guys, anyone applying to U of R's ABPNN May 2022 cohort? I haven't seen anyone post about it yet, so I figured I would start it.

U of R is my top choice as I am from the upstate New York area, but I also applied to UB and Stony Brook. Here are my completed pre-req grades: A&P I: A+,  A&P II: A+,  statistics: A-. I am currently taking nutrition and will be taking growth & development next semester. I am also a senior public health major right now, graduating this Spring, and I have worked in a nursing home as a geri-aide for the past year. Not direct healthcare experience, but I learned a lot there!

Good luck to anyone else applying, would love to chat more and get to know you guys! ?

Hi!! I also applied to U of R for May 2022, but for their AMPNN program. I graduated May 2021 majoring bio. I've worked as a CNA, medical scribe, and research assistant.

I interviewed with them mid-December and have not heard anything from them since. I'm honestly getting nervous considering it's been 6-8 weeks after applications deadlines already.

Have you heard anything back yet? I received my acceptance letter earlier this week!

yes! I actually also got my acceptance earlier this week. I am going to accept the offer of admission later this week I think! what about you?

Same here! I'm still holding off and waiting on two more schools before I make the final decision

I live in California and waiting to hear back from two programs I applied here.. but I really like the idea of finishing in just 12 months! And I heard the nursing program is great!! (minus the steep price tag :P)

Where are you guys currently located? Have you checked out the campus yet?

I actually grew up near Rochester but am currently finishing the last semester of my first bachelors at the University of Maryland! so this school was my first choice since I will be able to live at home! the main campus is beautiful and the nursing school is super close which is nice.

Hi guys,

I am currently a student at the UofR SON. I am graduating from the accelerated program this May of 2022. Good luck to you all with the program. Feel free to ask me any questions!

Does anyone know if a 2.3 GPA has a chance of getting in with excellent pre req grades and clinical experience ?

How gnarly is the program in 12 months? Tell me what you underestimated.

Hi guys! I was wondering if anyone applied to the Summer 2023 program and if they heard anything back yet? Just very anxious because I haven't heard back from the school and the decisions were suppose to be released January 15th! If anyone has any information, I would greatly appreciate it, Thank you!

I literally got my acceptance 30 minutes ago! Good luck! I applied to their Direct-Entry MSN program, and am still waiting on the response for that, though.
