Hi all,

I haven't found a forum for U of Roch nursing for Fall 2019. So I thought I should start one!

Same same. I have a feeling we'll have to wait until closer to the end of the week.

Just called and spoke to Nancy. Her words exactly: we are in the midst of making decisions hopefully by the end of this week.

Yes, she did. I originally spoke to Maria and it seemed like they couldn't find my application so I was transferred to Nancy. She was able to find it and then said that ^

Thanks ! Lol yeah I was wondering if it was smart or not to call or not; Incase she sees it as eagerness, or if she conveys as impatience etc. that’s why I asked lol bc I’ve avoided to call for that reason BUT I don’t want to get lost in the sauce and be forgotten. My interview was early on!

Hi All,

I just called and was told by an admin that first mode of contact in regards to acceptances will be via email later on this week either, Thursday or Friday; followed by letters. With that communicated, I am uncertain about phone calls going out, if at all, or simultaneously. I was also told that there were a large amount of applicants, so it has taken longer than anticipated, but their priority has been to be fair and thorough with all who applied.

I'm sharing in hopes to relieve some anxiety, at least til Thursday, based off the call I recently made.

All in all, best wishes! And do not forget to come back, if you applied, and share your outcome with the forum members because I'm certain we'd like to celebrate and/or encourage you onward.

Wow, I’m very nervous with the fact that they have a lot of applications, I really hope and pray I get accepted. Thanks for updating us

One of us should be the brave soul to call her tomorrow and verify letters were sent out and if that’s the only method we’ll be receiving lol

It was never said that they were sent already, otherwise I’m sure they would’ve communicated that people are being reach out to or updated over the phone whether or not person calling was accepted or rejected. I don’t see point of calling tomorrow if they’re estimating Thursday earliest for emails, and MAYBE JUST MAYBE calls.

Hey guys ! If we are on the wait list or not accepted at all, should we apply for the January start ? How is everyone going about this?

Off the bat, I am, without a doubt. And with the extra time, do more saving and push for more experience if need be... that’s IF I’m not accepted. ????????

Hey everyone!

I am a 23 year old male and I have been on their case for months now because I was accepted into a program very early on and they had a deadline. I kept calling and always asked where they were in the process. Well I have good news; I called and told them my deadline for my other school (Dusquene) was up and they gave me a decision that afternoon. I was accepted! I will be attending the University of Rochester in the Fall.

My advice to everyone waiting for a decision is be patient! I know it is easier said then done, trust me I had to be very patient through this process, but they are very close to making decisions. They will be calling applicants very soon and then sending acceptance letters too.

It is true that they had a large amount of applicants, but I'm sure it will work out for everyone. I hope to see many of you in the Fall!

P.S. I will try to start a facebook page for students attending U of R in the Fall of 2019 so that we can communicate and make it easier to look for roommates/housing. My name is Jamie Burczynski if you want to add me on facebook or instagram.
