Hi all,

I haven't found a forum for U of Roch nursing for Fall 2019. So I thought I should start one!

I actually decided to also call the office just now and the lady I spoke to asked for my name and placed me on a brief hold. When she got back on the phone she told me decisions will be sent out today or tomorrow by phone and email lol. I’m nervous and the whole situation is just a 50/50 chance lol. I wonder why I was placed on hold? Maybe someone else can try calling in later today.

Wow, different responses compared to when I call and you !

To keep my anxiety down, I’m just gonna wait til tomorrow and act like nothing can be expected today lol. They’ve had us waiting for months at this point, an extra day I can do lol ?

Forget tomorrow....i say wait until Monday lol, most of us (im assuming) have read the previous threads, this is a game they play (unintentionally i hope).

Okay, update!

I went ahead to also email Nancy Kita directly, and her reply email came within 10 minutes, and paraphrased to following:

... We are making decisions now ... should be receiving an email within the next day or so about the decision.

— feel free to take as you please. Everything with a grain of salt. Remember considers that I emailed her personally. So personally idk how to gauge that for myself. No idea if general or if its a hint towards good or bad. Lol

I don’t know that it’s a game but surely I’m sure they use a system to send our number of emails simultaneously, so I’m sure they mean well. Probably just don’t give specific time in order to avoid making promises they can’t keep Incase something comes or to avoid an overwhelming influx of calls and emails at a certain point in time !

Agreed, I have zero expectations regarding decisions tomorrow. Friday seems like an odd day to me or im just thinking too much.

But honestly just waiting with expectancy by Monday makes it much easier if a load rather than be on standby checking email and waiting by phone every second .

?? even this forum has been an addiction in last few days. Every notification, I’m biting my nails expecting someone to say “I got a call/email”!

Lol I know right, I keep refreshing my email for an update from this forum about people getting accepted. ??which ever way things turn out to be, I wish everyone the best. Hopefully we all get to meet in person.
