Hi Storm,

I've already been following that forum and asked a couple questions there.

Thanks for the heads up tho!

Hey!
I submitted my application a few days ago. I was wondering how long the wait time usually.

Hi everyone!

My name is Hannah and I've applied to the fall 2019 program too!

Degree: Biology with a minor in Spanish

Experience: approximately 3 years of hospital volunteer experience and shadowing, volunteering with veteran's affairs and a local free clinic, etc. Currently working as a full time nanny for 2 young children. Have also been a lifeguard and swimming instructor for 8 years. Spent the last year working full time on an organic fruit and vegetables farm.

Prereqs: still working on microbio, but all the rest are done

Applying to: UofR, Thomas Jefferson (accepted), Simmons (accepted), and DePaul

I actually applied to this program really early (like last October) and have already been interviewed.

Hi @HannahShum

How long was your interview and what kind of questions did they ask? By the way, congrats on your other acceptances!

PSA y’all they’re still sending out decisions for the May cohort so don’t expect anything to happen quickly.

I also applied for the Fall 2019 cohort and submitted my application pretty early back in January. I haven't heard anything from them except that my admissions checklist says everything is good to go.

@jess_123 my interview was probably 40 minutes long and my interviewer was one of the nursing faculty. She asked me to tell her about myself, why I wanted to go into nursing, how did I go from getting a degree in biology to wanting to be a nurse. Then she asked me a few questions specific to what I was doing at the time (working on a farm). Then she basically opened the interview up for me to ask her questions about the program, Rochester, etc. I did it over the phone and it was pretty painless.
